Born John Robinson 24th June 1952 in Rochford,
Essex. He first wanted to play guitar after seeing Tommy
Steele on the telly. He made a wooden guitar with elastic bands for strings
& has been struggling to play guitar ever since! He heard “Wonderful
Land” by the Shadows when he was 10 in 1962 & wanted to play like
the Shadows. He got his first guitar Christmas 1963 when he was 11 and the
Beatles had just released “ I Wanna Hold Your Hand” . He played
in a band at school in Gt. Wakering & various bands locally, from pop
to rock, such as “Hard Graft”, “Dirty Harry”, “Private
Sector”. He Started playing with Alan & Mick when the Saddows were
formed by Alan in 2000.
